Excellent Sweet Romance by Alex Reynolds

This was a lovely sweet book with some danger and abuse. The small woman gives the appearance of a very young girl. She is taken in by the sheriff who hides her until they can catch the bad guys. They fall in love with each other and there is a HEA. This was an excellent read. I was given an Advanced Review Copy for an honest review.

Adorable AP Love Story!

Wow! I don't know what to say about this story without sounding kinda childish because it was just so cool! There wasn't a super big rush into the "daddy" thing and it was displayed as if it were actually happening. I really loved this story because it felt real... It was as if I could really imagine it happening. The words displayed so perfectly that I could see it as a picture in my head. There were yummy spankings and some even yummier sex scenes! Peter is a wonderful man and an even better daddy and Ms. Reynolds did a fantastic job telling Julie's story that I highly recommend you all read!

Sweet romance!

This was such a cute story and the romance is so sweet! Julie made me laugh out loud, I could just picture her in my head and she made me smile. Peter needed her in his life, but he didn't know it at the time, together they were perfect. Although I would have loved it if Peter had decked Crank, just saying. No spoilers from me, read the book and enjoy! I received this book from Stormy Night Publications as an Advanced Reader Copy.

P.J. Plauger was operating at full-tilt when he wrote this excellent guide to the implementation and use of the C library. In particular, his treament (and history) of is outstanding. Unfortunately, the Plauger of recent history is apparently being held captive by Microsoft. His "C/C++ User's Journal" is brimming with non-portable Windows topics of little value to those interested in Standard C and, of course, the Unix platform...where C began. Plauger has apparently forgotten the roots of the C programming language. Nonetheless, this is among the five "must have" books for the serious C programmer

A "Must Have" Reference Book

When I bought this book, in college, I really didn't understand it. It didn't really give me much information, just had a bunch of code from the C standard libraries in it.

I picked it back up a few years after I started working in the real world and now had enough experience to realize what a gem this thing was. It basically implements (full source code) all the standard libraries. It let's you see how things work on the inside. It shows structs and accessible items that you may otherwise not even know it exists.

The best part is the source for standard library functions. This is a super handy gem if you are doing embedded code that doesn't have OS support. It was a wonderful help to me that let me write a few of the standard C functions that were handy to use when in an embedded environment where those functions weren't available. Many of these I could have done myself, but only with much though, time and testing. From here its virtually free.

This is a MUST HAVE book to any hard core C/C++ developer.

The Definitive Book on the Standard C Library

This outstanding book integrates three treatments of the Standard C library: The straight text from the standard, a commentary, and a prototype implementation. All of these show Plauger at his best.
Even though the implementation does not always look elegant (and unfortunately is not open source), it provides a high quality implementation of each aspect of the standard and is extremely instructive (I found the stdio formatting code and the math routines particularly interesting).

Great reference for all levels

This is another in-depth reference text full of detailed information on bees as crop pollinators. My favorite things about this book are the step-by-step instructions on rearing bumble bees (it also includes some management information on other native bees), and details about pollination requirements for a long list of crops. A must-have if your work involves bees and crop interactions!

Estate Planning Made Clear and Effective

The internet is changing the legal profession, as it has so many others. Indeed, author Hargrove is himself at the vanguard of online legal services, but his book makes clear that the more complex issues of estate planning will still require the customized and skillful care of attorneys who specialize in estate planning law. However, for an understanding of the basics and for many of the less complex aspects of passing on assets to your heirs that you can do yourself, this book provides a clear, easy-to-read guide. There is just enough detail to provoke your thinking about how best to approach this necessary task and what questions to ask an attorney, if you conclude that you still need one. The topical chapters are usually only a few pages long, so the reader won't get bogged down in dense legalese. In fact, there is gratefully very little legal speak in the book, which makes it approachable and enjoyable. In fact, many of the chapters deal with topics that are not, in the first instance, legal issues at all: how to save for college, what types of life insurance to consider, passing on a family business, elder care, social security and VA benefits, and even pet care! Hargrove provides anecdotes from his 30 years of practice to help make his points and to stimulate the reader's thinking about his/her own situation. The lawyer jokes are an added bonus! Highly recommend!

This is not a book about the end of lawyers which is what the title suggests. It's a thought provoking book about ongoing and predicted disruptions in the practice of law and how legal services might be delivered in the future. Hargrove argues, that in the estate planning category many American's are unprepared with end of life directives. Mainly, because they don't want to pay $450 an hour to an attorney when they can go online and do it themselves for much less. Mr. Hargrove has shared how he is making estate planning, once only available to the wealthy, available for all of America's incomes. It's a great business book from someone who has wonderful business acumen and 30 years of helping people achieve what they want to achieve. If you have children. chapter 10 is a must read.

Finally a book that helps everyone with assets!

Estate planning is so critical for protecting the accumulation of assets. If it appears complicated to the average consumer, it is! Jamie has taken this process and boiled it down to our layman terms with an easy to read book dedicated to helping you understand how to protect your legacy to future generations in your family.

One of the least understood assets is your home and the possible advantages you can create when you properly document your ownership and future intention of the property. In the title business we see countless situations where the sale of the home, for a myriad of reasons, must be delayed because the seller did not have their affairs in order. This book takes you through all of the necessary steps and potentially positions you to always have control of the largest asset you will ever own and provides a footprint for those in your legacy that will benefit from your planning.

Make this a must read in 2016.

Hemodynamic Monitoring, Evolving Technologies and Clinical Practice by Mary E. Lough provides an in-depth review of the current state of hemodynamics. This book is dense with information and provides a deeper understanding to even the most versed and experienced practitioner.
The content of the book was outstanding and covered many places in hemodynamic monitoring that were previously rarely discussed and difficult to find in other literary sources. This book, however, requires the reader to have at least a moderate foundation in cardiac care and hemodynamics to fully appreciate the complex topics it addresses. The many provided case studies and examples also help to enforce the clinical application of each topic and are included in almost every chapter. Overall I love the book and have referenced it many times in actual clinical practice. It is appropriate for any health care practitioner that wants to gain a much deeper understanding of the holistic picture surrounding hemodynamics and hemodynamic monitoring.

Throughout the book the reader finds a vast amount of helpful visual aids and graphics that provide written and visual modeling of the complex systems and processes associated with hemodynamics. Visual aids are also included that look at many of the devices currently in use for hemodynamic modeling and how they obtain their information within the body. These visuals were very helpful to understand many of the concepts and were written in a user-friendly way that displayed all useful data and the processes clearly.

The combination of visual and written education was perfect for conceptualizing the many multifaceted processes, monitoring tools, and pathophysiology. I have not seen a book on the market at this time that addresses the breadth of content in as deep of detail and clarity as this book.

Francesco Malatesta

Francesco Malatesta, born in 1990, is a web developer and a curious enthusiast from Vasto, a wonderful city on the Italian eastern coast. He actually lives in Rome, where he is studying computer engineering. He received his first PC at the age of six, and since then, they have never separated. It's not all about computers, however; he also likes to travel, add new items to his movie collection, and create new awesome experiences. This book is a perfect example. "Never stop" is his key. He is the founder of Laravel-Italia, the Italian Laravel community. He works as a freelancer developer and consultant, but he also writes for Sitepoint, in the PHP section, and HTML.IT, the first portal about information technology in Italy. He started his first job in web development when he was 15 years old. In the past, he has translated three books, which are Laravel: Code Happy (by Dayle Rees), Code Bright (by Dayle Rees), and Laravel Testing: Decoded (by Jeffrey Way).

Good book on eloquent

This book is a good introduction to Eloquent. The author does decent job of filling in the gaps of the Laravel documentation. I did find a couple of items for an errata but nothing major and all easy to see what was meant. The English phrasing used did make me smile a few times but the author's English is better than my Italian (by orders of magnitude) so I'm not throwing stones.

Greate book on Laravel`s ORM: Eloquent

This is a good book!
It`s easy to read, good examples to help you understand the features and concepts of Eloquent. I am used to write my SQL query by hand, so this ORM-thing is a transition, but this book made me enjoy letting go of the control. It`s nice to not have SQL in my PHP code... Lots of good overviews in lists and tables makes it easy grasp the information. All my questions and skepticism where met and put to ease (advanced where-clauses, table joining, delete without really deleting (soft delete), query scopes (because you don`t want to repeat yourself, but a lot of queries will have the same constraints, and sometimes these can be advanced), conversion to array and JSON and so one. The book is awesome, and so is Eloquent!

I really enjoyed this book

I really enjoyed this book. It is a deep dive into Laravel's Eloquent ORM. It takes you through every aspect of Eloquent and even shows how to use Eloquent on it own outside of Laravel. I feel very confident using Eloquent after reading this book, I was a little unclear on how relationships worked even after reading Laravel's API documentation... this book cleared up any doubts. Another great thing about this book is it takes a look at Collections which are very powerful. I would like to see this author write another book exploring the whole Laravel framework in depth.
